About PINS-UP

PINS-UP is an organization that empowers and supports families dealing with their child's mental health, behavioral health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse challenges. Ever since being founded back on April 18, 2018,  PINS-UP has been providing tailored resources and programs to help parents understand their child's unique needs, potential, necessary skills, and resiliency for their journey.

Our partnership with the Georgia Parent Support Network strengthens our ability to make a significant difference in the lives of countless families.

At PINS-UP Family Service, LLC, we envision a future where all children, regardless of their mental health or developmental challenges, have the chance to realize their full potential, and all parents have the resources they need to guide and support them.

Your journey, our support - Together, let's unlock potential.

It is to provide education, awareness, access, support, advocacy, personal development, training, & leadership opportunities to parents and children who are living with a mental illness, and or substance abuse diagnosis.

I am the CEO of Parents in Need of Skills – Understanding Potential (PINS-UP) Inc., NWGA Federation of Families Chapter. I believe that when parents use their skills, they have the potential to change their mindset.  I recently completed the CPS-MH training and am now certified to share my personal story of transformation and recovery.

My educational background includes an Associate in Early Childhood Care and Education, Infant and Toddler Specialization from Georgia Northwestern Technical College.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Human Service from Shorter University and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Human Services Nonprofit Management at Shorter University.
